The stay was absolutely delightful, with the breakfast being a standout highlight—full English, cereals, and even boiled eggs available on request made for a great start each morning. The room was comfortably bright and cozy, making it a perfect retreat after exploring the nearby Elizabethan House Museum and the Wellington Arch, both just a short walk away. The owners were incredibly welcoming, sharing their local knowledge about attractions and ensuring we had everything we needed during our 4-night stay. I particularly appreciated the charming Victorian architecture throughout the property, which added to its unique character.

Charming Victorian architecture, Secure parking facilities, On-site garden with smoking area
Noise from those relentless seagulls!!! The need for a more eco-friendly approach is apparent—how about a timer for those shower light switches?

A delightful surprise with cake
From the moment we arrived, Greg and Sam made us feel incredibly welcome. The room was spacious and immaculate, stocked with all the essentials like shower gel and tea-making facilities. Each morning began with a fantastic home-cooked breakfast, and we were even treated to freshly baked cakes during the stay. The hotel is perfectly situated within walking distance of the beach and local attractions, making exploring the area a breeze.
While our stay was fantastic overall, I did notice the occasional disturbances from outside noises, which might be a concern for light sleepers. I felt some minor environmental improvements could be made, like ensuring lights turn off automatically after a shower.
